Matthieu Lévi-Strauss is working at the "Agence Nationale de la Recherche" (ANR) on biomedical research funding. He is a MD and prepared his PhD at the Institut Pasteur on molecular genetics of the Major Histocompatibility Complex. He then worked at the College de France on the molecular basis of the vulnerability of the dopaminergic neurons and at the Necker hospital on murine models of autoimmune diseases.

The aim of the workshop "Evaluation and funding of research projects" is to explain and, above all, discuss the basic principles of the evaluation and of the funding of research projects.
